Atlas is a recognized leader in quality control and quality assurance testing, offering a complete line of material testing equipment and services.

Quality Management System 

Atlas products are designed and manufactured to conform to international, national and industry standard test methods including ISO, ASTM, DIN, JIS and numerous others. Atlas is ISO 9001 registered. You can download the accreditation certificates here: 

Calibration Services 

Atlas calibration services are accredited by A2LA to meet ISO 17025 requirements. This includes xenon lamp and UV Fluorescent devices irradiance calibrations performed in our Chicago-based and Linsengericht-based calibration laboratory using state-of-the-art irradiance measurement equipment as well as on site calibrations for both Atlas and competitor's weathering instruments by our experienced, factory-trained Technical Service staff.

Weathering Testing

Atlas' accelerated weathering testing laboratories are accepted and accredited test laboratories by ISO/IEC 17025. Atlas was the first weathering organization to receive accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025, General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories. Atlas is also A2LA ISO 17025 accredited for technical competence in calibrating radiometers used for solar and various light source irradiance measurements.

AMECA 

Atlas laboratory facilities are fully accredited by the Automotive Manufacturers Equipment Compliance Agency, Inc. (AMECA) for compliance with all AMECA laboratory requirements.

CRRC

The Cool Roof Ratings Council (CRRC) has accredited Atlas as an approved Test Farm facility for the CRRC's Product Rating Program. To earn the coveted CRRC rating, roofing manufacturers and sellers must perform weathering tests through Atlas for three years at locations in Florida (hot/humid), Arizona (hot/dry) and the Midwest (cold/temperate).

Safe Harbor

Atlas Material Testing Technology LLC (“Atlas”) safeguards our employee and client data, computer networks and systems. Atlas adheres to the Safe Harbor Agreement concerning the transfer of personal data from the European Union (“EU”) to the United States of America. Accordingly, we follow the Safe Harbor Principles published by the U.S. Department of Commerce with respect to all such data. If there is any conflict between the policies in this privacy policy and the Safe Harbor Principles, the Safe Harbor Principles shall govern. This privacy policy outlines our general policy and practices for implementing the Safe Harbor Principles, including the types of information we gather, how we use it and the notice and choice affected individuals have regarding our use of and their ability to correct that information.
