Atlas has pioneered outdoor accelerated testing since their development of the Trac Rac in the early 1900s. Atlas, primarily at its site in Phoenix, offers the variety of outdoor accelerated services that are listed below.

Ultra-Accelerated Exposure Testing Atlas developed this solar concentrator technology in partnership with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) and the Russian Institute of Laser Optical Technology (ILOT) under a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) program. EMMAQUA® EMMAQUA was developed in the 1960's. Economical, proven and continuously improved for even greater accuracy, EMMAQUA is the most widely used outdoor accelerated weathering test method in the world today. Temperature Controlled EMMAQUA® Temperature controlled EMMAQUA includes static control, dynamic control, night temperature control, and variable irradiance control. IP/DP Box® The IP/DP (Instrument Panel/Door Panel) Box offers an accelerated temperature limiting under glass weathering method to determine the durability and/or colorfastness of many materials.
