SEPAP 12/24

SEPAP 12/24 is the result of extensive studies carried out by photochemists from the University of Clermont-Ferrand (France) on durability of polymers. This unit is used as an analytical tool to understand the degradation mechanisms of naturally ageing polymers at the molecular level. The SEPAP 12/24 unit replicates in accelerated, controlled lab conditions the chemical changes occurring through long term, weathering conditions, from which similar changes in macroscopic properties (mechanical, aesthetical, etc.) can be expected.
